Paddle technique video-“Catch before drive”
Hi all, great little video from paddle technical training on Saturday. Rob twinged his back so was coach and videographer. He did a smashing job, great analysis and feedback on the footage.
This was so helpful for my improving my catch phase and worth a watch if you’re serious about SUP!

Stretching my understanding-now I know why yoga is important (finally)!

The position you put your body in is essential to good paddling perfomance. There’s still a bit of work to do here:-) but where and how?

Pushing the boundaries-The Head of the Dart race 12/4/2015
Last September after the Starboard conference, I got in my head to try the sprint unlimited
in a race, how fast is it? Do something that perhaps hasn’t been done before, push the boundaries!The opportunity to do a race in the UK and overseas (perhaps) on an unlimited board is very limited:-) How about the Head Of The Dart (HOTD)?
BaySUP turns up and blows out!
BU sports lab physiological testing Nov 14.
In August this year Bournemouth University (BU) contacted the BaySUP posse to see if we wanted to take part in some lab testing again with them. It’s a great opportunity and the guys and girls that took part last year found it fun and beneficial, so we went for it again as we seem to like pain and discomfort!
