Surf Steps Junior Club

Due to popularity we will be running our juniors sessions on Saturday AND SUNDAY! 10am-11am
Saturday is now full! if Sunday fills up aswell we will try and increase the group sizes for both days.

The course is a 6 week block (hoping to run from November 5th – Dec 10th) and will cost £10 per session per child. (there is a reduced rate available if you have not attended our juniors club before and would like to fill in a funding form to recieve a discount)

In August this year Bournemouth University (BU) contacted the BaySUP posse to see if we wanted to take part in some lab testing again with them. It’s a great opportunity and the guys and girls that took part last year found it fun and beneficial, so we went for it again as we seem to like pain and discomfort!

Reflections of a SUP racing year

Totally stoked! An amazing season of sporting achievements for me, a reflection of all the hard work and quite a lot of uncontrollable elements (luck!) going my way. Still hard to believe….started with 2nd overall in our Frostbite series in April, through to 3rd in the last UK SUP clubs race in the Gower mid-August. Total series points meant 3rd overall and 1st Masters in the UK SUP clubs’ 10 race series (12’6″)!!

Saturday 23rd August saw Dorset’s SUP club BaySUP battle it out with more than 130 competitors from 9 other clubs at Eton Dorney’s Olympic Rowing venue to defend and win, for the 2nd year running, the title of UK National SUP Club Champions.
